The sunset's position changes through the year, and during part of the year the sun sets behind the neighbouring property, which has a privacy screen, leaving the deck in shade in the late afternoon and evening. Direct evening sun on the deck is not guaranteed. Power Outages Occasional power outages can occur in Koh Samui, especially during the rainy season.
